The problemWhat it costs you

What usually brings people here.

01

Spend goes to the wrong searches

Broad matching and no negative keywords mean the budget pays for searches that were never going to become work: job seekers, do-it-yourselfers and people in another province.

02

Nobody knows which clicks became calls

Without conversion and call tracking, Google bids for clicks. The account looks busy, the bill from Google grows, and you still cannot say what one enquiry costs.

03

The agency holds the account

Your campaigns sit in an account the agency controls, so leaving means starting from zero. The history, the tracking and everything learned about your market stay behind with them.

The outcomeWhat changes

What you have when we are done.

01

An account you own outright

Campaigns run in a Google Ads account in your business name, billed to your card. We work in it through access you grant and can remove. Leave, and everything stays with you.

02

Cost per enquiry you can see

Calls, form submissions and bookings are tracked as conversions. Each report shows what you spent, how many enquiries arrived and what each one cost, broken down by campaign.

03

Budget that stays where you set it

You approve the monthly ad spend. Daily budgets, bid limits and ad schedules hold it there, and money moves toward the campaigns producing enquiries rather than the ones producing clicks.

04

Landing pages that match the ad

Each ad points to a page that answers the search it appeared for, with one clear way to call or enquire, so the clicks you pay for have somewhere useful to land.

How it runs.

  1. 01

    Discover

We review your current account, or your market if you are starting fresh, read past search terms, check margins and work out what a qualified enquiry is worth to you.

  2. 02

    Design

We plan campaigns around the services that pay best, choose keywords, match types and negatives, set locations and agree a monthly ad budget you approve in writing.

  3. 03

    Build

We set up or restructure the account in your name, install conversion and call tracking, write the ads and adjust landing pages before any money is spent.

  4. 04

    Launch

Campaigns go live with budget caps. Through the learning period we watch search terms closely, block waste early and avoid big changes that would restart Google's learning.

  5. 05

    Optimise

Each month we prune search terms, adjust bids and budgets, test new ad copy, pause what does not produce enquiries and send a plain report on spend and results.

In detail

What does Google Ads management include?

Google Ads management with Glasshead Tech covers six jobs: account setup and structure, keyword and negative-keyword work, conversion and call tracking, landing page fixes, budget control and a monthly report. We do the work inside your account, and every change shows in its history, so nothing about how your money is spent is hidden.

Structure and keywords

Campaigns are grouped by the services that earn the most, with ads written for each. We choose match types deliberately, build negative keyword lists before launch and read the search terms report every month, adding irrelevant searches to the block list as they appear.

Tracking

Form submissions, calls from ads and calls from the landing page are recorded as conversions. Without that, Google's bidding chases clicks. With it, the account learns which searches turn into enquiries, and you can see what each enquiry cost.

Landing pages and budget

Each ad points to a page that answers the search it appeared for, with one obvious way to call or enquire. Daily budgets, location targeting and ad schedules keep spend within the monthly figure you approved.

Who pays Google, and who owns the account?

You do, on both counts. The Google Ads account is set up in your business name with your payment details, so ad spend goes straight from you to Google and never passes through us. Our management fee is invoiced separately. If you stop working with us, you remove our access and keep the campaigns, history and tracking.

That split matters more than it looks. When an agency bills ad spend on its own invoice or keeps the account in its own name, the real cost per click is hard to see and leaving means rebuilding from nothing. We avoid both on purpose.

How long before Google Ads produces enquiries?

Ads can appear within a day of launch, but the first few weeks are a learning period. Google's automated bidding is still gathering data, the cost per enquiry swings and early numbers mislead. We treat the first month as learning, judge campaigns over the second and third months, and tell you this before you spend anything.

During the learning period we still block irrelevant searches and fix obvious faults, but we avoid large changes to bids or structure, because those restart what Google has learned. Patience in month one is cheaper than a reset in month two.

When are Google Ads the wrong move?

When the basics are missing. Without a landing page that matches the search, ads pay to send visitors somewhere that loses them. Without tracking, nobody can tell which campaigns work. And when one job earns too little margin to cover the clicks and quotes it takes to win it, ads lose money by design.

  • No landing page. Build or fix the page first. A clear page through website design is the better first spend in that case.
  • No tracking. We set it up before the first dollar goes to Google, and we will not launch without it.
  • Thin margins. Unpaid search through our SEO services is slower but carries no cost per click, which suits low-margin work better.

If ads are not right for you yet, we say so in the first conversation, even though it means a smaller invoice for us.

How do Google Ads compare with SEO?

Google Ads buys a place at the top of the results and can produce enquiries within weeks, but it stops when the budget stops. SEO earns unpaid visibility that builds over months and keeps working after the spending ends. Many local businesses run both, starting with ads for immediate enquiries while search catches up.

The digital marketing plan suits owners who would rather have one monthly figure and one conversation each month than two separate services.

How much does Google Ads management cost in Edmonton?

Our management fee starts from $900 per month in CAD, plus the ad spend you pay Google directly. The fee depends on how many campaigns, services and areas we run and whether landing pages need work first. You approve the ad budget separately, and both figures are in writing before anything goes live.

All our prices are on the pricing page. If you run ads now, send us read-only access to your account and we will tell you what we would keep, what we would cut and whether ads suit your business at all. We reply within 24 hours.

Asked before they write.

How much does Google Ads management cost in Edmonton?

Management starts from $900 per month in CAD. Ad spend is extra and is paid by you directly to Google from your own account, so it never appears on our invoice. The fee depends on how many campaigns and service areas we run. Both figures are agreed in writing before launch.

What should my monthly ad budget be?

It depends on what a click costs in your trade and area and how many enquiries you need. We estimate it from Google's own keyword data during setup and tell you plainly if a budget is too small to learn anything useful. You approve the number and can change it whenever you like.

How long is the Google Ads learning period?

Expect the first few weeks after launch, or after a major change, to be unsettled while Google's bidding gathers data. We judge campaigns over the second and third months rather than the first fortnight. Small fixes continue throughout, but we avoid large changes that would restart the learning.

Can you take over an account another agency set up?

Yes. We start with a review of the existing account: structure, search terms, tracking and spend history. If the account sits in the agency's name, we help you get it moved into yours or set up a new one you own. We keep what works and rebuild only what spends money without producing enquiries.

What is not included in Google Ads management?

Ad spend is not included, because you pay Google directly. A new website, or a landing page built from scratch, is quoted separately before work starts, and so is any SEO or content work. The monthly fee covers running the account, tracking, landing page adjustments and the monthly report.

Is call tracking allowed under Canadian privacy law?

Call and form tracking can collect personal information, such as a caller's phone number. Alberta's PIPA and the federal PIPEDA generally expect a business to collect only what it needs and to tell people what it collects and why. We keep tracking to what you need and point out where your privacy notice should mention it. This is general information, not legal advice.
